DAY SHIFT 8-430p Must-Haves
NMTCB or ARRT(N) certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
Comfortable working independently with minimal training
Experience in both:
General Nuclear Medicine
Cardiac Nuclear Medicine (stress testing/myocardial perfusion studies)
Strong patient care and communication skills
Flexible and adaptable personality
Willing to rotate between the hospital-based General Nuclear department and the Cardiac Nuclear department Preferred
3-5+ years of experience
EPIC experience
Siemens equipment experience (not required, but helpful)
Previous traveler experience
Availability to start before 8:00 AM occasionally

Clinical Skill Set The strongest candidates will have experience of performing:
Myocardial Perfusion Studies (Cardiolite)
MUGA scans
Bone scans
HIDA scans
Gastric Emptying studies
Thyroid uptake/scans
Renal studies
GI Bleed studies
Lung Perfusion studies
Therapeutic radiopharmaceutical administration The department does not perform PET, so PET/CT experience is not required. Work Environment
Rotating between two locations:
General Nuclear Medicine Department (hospital)
Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Department (Medical Pavilion)
Typical patient volumes:
7-9 Cardiac patients/day
5-12 General Nuclear patients/day
Inpatient and outpatient workload
No routine weekends Nuclear Medicine – Unit Description The Nuclear Medicine Department, located within the Radiology Department, provides diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. Last updated: July 2026 Services include general nuclear medicine studies, cardiac nuclear imaging, therapeutic radiopharmaceutical administration, and a variety of specialty exams. The department utilizes Digirad nuclear medicine imaging equipment. The department operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for both General and Cardiac Nuclear Medicine. Routine inpatient studies are performed the same day when clinically appropriate, with technologists providing weekend on-call coverage for inpatient and emergent studies. After-hours positions support Outpatient, Emergency Department, and Inpatient exams. Travelers are expected to perform procedures within their demonstrated competencies and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality patient care.
