NYU Langone Perlmutter Cancer Center – Staten Island, NY NYU Langone Perlmutter Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment at its Staten Island outpatient oncology clinic. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, a low daily patient volume, and the opportunity to work in a specialized oncology environment performing PET imaging. Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (37.5 hours/week) Lunch: 30-minute unpaid break Shift Rotation: None Provider Support: Radiology Patient Volume: Approximately 12 patients per day Length of Assignment: 8 Weeks Patient Population Adult and Geriatric patients Primary diagnosis: Oncology Department Information Outpatient Cancer Center Equipment: GE Omni (GE and Siemens experience preferred) Primary Procedure: PET Scans (required) Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience New York State Department of Health License NMTCB Certification PET imaging experience Experience with: Venipuncture/blood draws Starting and maintaining IVs Safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials Isolation precautions and appropriate PPE
