1 year experience as a vascular technologist Required License: State- licensed Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Job Summary Vascular technologists assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of disorders affecting the vascular system. Vascular technologists perform non-invasive vascular exams to assess for vascular disease or disorders.

Ultrasound exams performed in our office include venous reflux, DVT, arterial, carotid, and AAA exams. Possible need to assist provider with intravenous laser and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy treatments. Candidate should have advanced knowledge of ultrasound equipment, procedures, and techniques with the ability to summarize findings and maintain patient records.

Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a caring nature.
