On Bonus: $15,000Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you would be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include:Performing diagnostic X-ray examinations using appropriate positioning, techniques, and exposure factors.Performing exams on patients across all age groups within the Diagnostic Radiology department.Preparing and positioning patients while maintaining their safety, comfort, and privacy.Verifying patient identifiers, exam details, and laterality before each procedure.Monitoring patients throughout examinations and responding appropriately when assistance is required.Accurately documenting examinations in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS.Following hospital infection-control, safety, and patient-care protocols.Maintaining all required licenses, certifications, CEUs, and annual compliance requirements.Requirements & QualificationsCurrent Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License, or a Temporary Massachusetts Rad Tech License with the ability to obtain permanent licensure within one year.ARRT Certification and Registration required, or the ability to pass the national ARRT registry examination within one year if working under a temporary license.Current BLS/CPR Certification.Completion of a two-year approved Radiologic Technology program.1+ year of Radiologic Technology experience in a hospital setting preferred.Strong communication, patient-care, and teamwork skills.Benefits & PerksThe position also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Competitive compensationHighly subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance403(b) retirement planTuition reimbursementEmployee discountsProfessional development and training opportunitiesSupportive team environment with experienced Radiologic Technologists
