Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a healthcare facility Certification: BLS required Preferred Certification: CDCES
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university. Completion of an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics. Current registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
At least 2 years of clinical nutrition experience, including medical nutrition therapy for chronic diseases and nutrition education across the life cycle. Experience planning regular and modified diets in a healthcare setting. Three years of experience is preferred.
Key
Provide medical nutrition therapy, conduct nutrition assessments, develop individualized nutrition care plans, counsel and educate patients, manage complex and high-risk cases, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support food service quality assurance and staff education.
