Unit: Cardiovascular Unit- Telemetry Start date: ASAP *Please ensure your traveler is aware and comfortable with the ratios. The ratios typically range between 1:5-6, however, with call-ins the ratios can move up to 1:7. We are actively onboarding new travelers on the unit each week to reduce the workload when there is a call-in.

This is our main Cardiac Telemetry unit. The majority of these patients are on a cardiac monitor.

They are monitored in a remote telemetry room, but also closely monitored on the unit. They do take cardiac drips. Their patient population is heart failure, heart attack (STEMI and NSTEMI), stroke (needing cardiac monitoring), cardiac arrhythmia's, chest pain, etc.
