SimpliFi Interview & Director Approval for Offer Unit Information: o Beds: 6 Cath Labs, 3 EP, 21 bed pre/post op unit o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years Cath Lab or EP (prefer both) CN, ANM or NM background of at least 6 months o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Adult patients, 20
25 cases a day, plus add on cases o 10
15 STEMIs a month o Staff covers UofL university and Jewish/Heart Shift coordination for both sites Staffing o Pre
Op/post-op: 8 RNs and 3 PCA, charge does not take patients o Cath Lab: 9
10 RNs, 7
8 techs, charge nurse or charge tech does not take an assignment o EP Lab: 6 RNs, 4 techs charge helps when needed but not in rotation Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: o BLS ACLS o CPI provided o Masters is a plus will be needed if transitioning to Permanent position Skills required: o Communication between the different areas, multitasking, able to jump into lab if needed, review scheduling, physician communication Support within the Department: o Shift coordinator 4 days a week, assists with site management at university o VP available for physician concerns o Director Technology/Equipment: o EMR: Cerner o IV Pump: Plum ICU Medical o Med dispensing: Omnicell o Hemodynamic System: McKesson o Unit specific equipment: C-Arms GE and Siemens Floating: If yes, where? o Between Jewish and University, walkable Orientation (facility and unit) : o NEO o 2 weeks with Director for department training Scheduling: o Weekend rotation: Saturday team for emergency call o On call? If so, what is that schedule? Phone tree call, training will be provided, shared responsibility o Holiday Expectations: available for problem solving calls with team and providers o RTO: Director to Review o Shift times: M-F cases start at 730am, end at 8pm. Expected 8-hour workday within this time o Schedule cycle: 6 weeks schedule period August 24
