Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

The ED RN position in Birmingham, AL gives you the opportunity to deliver emergency care to patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment at the facility. You will assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions, collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure timely interventions. Required qualifications include a current RN license in Alabama, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and crisis prevention training are often preferred. At least 1-2 years of recent emergency department experience is recommended.
