NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn is seeking two (2) experienced Emergency Department RNs to work 3x12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. This role supports a combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department at a Level I/Level II Trauma Center. The department sees approximately 265 patients daily and includes 53 rooms.
Nurses will provide care to patients of all ages, from neonates through adults. Schedule Requirements 3x12-hour shifts 11:00 AM–11:00 PM Every other weekend Weekend shifts based on departmental needs 36 hours of orientation Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults Required Certifications and Licenses *New York State RN License *BLS *ACLS *PALS TNCC Required Experience At least one year of RN experience Level I and/or Level II Trauma Center experience required General Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric patients EPIC experience required Previous charge experience preferred Teaching hospital, LTAC, and community hospital experience preferred First-time travelers are accepted
