Nigh Shift; 1800 to 0630 shift, 36 hours per week, per Manager. ER and ICU experience preferred as some floating may be needed. Must have EPIC experience.

At least one year Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years experience in good standing. EDUCATION AND

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. LICENSES OR

Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California. LICENSES OR

Evidence of current BLS ACLS and PALS certification. LICENSES OR

MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire. LICENSES OR

MICN NRP TNCC and CEN encouraged and recommended.

Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will occasionally pull lift transfer or push a patient side to side to a sitting position to a standing position or laterally. The employee must demonstrate a pull lift of 50 pounds from the floor.

POTENTIAL EXPOSURE TO BLOOD BODY FLUIDS: Category 1 for potential exposure to bloodbody fluids. Requires the performance of procedures or other tasks in the work routine that involve an inherent potential for mucous membranes or skin contact with blood body fluids or tissues or a potential for spills or splashes of them. Protective measures should be used while engaged in Category 1 tasks with exposure potential.

Job Roles RN II Emergency Department AHCL AGES SERVED b: Child Adolescent Adult Geriatric. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care service appropriate to the age of the patients/individuals served. Demonstrates and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patients/ individuals status and interpret relative to his age-specific needs and to provide the care/service needed.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the critical skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to the patients served in the Intensive Care setting. Able to interpret data about the patients status in order to identify each patients age specific needs and provide care needed by the patient group. Demonstrates the ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt precise and professional manner.

Maintains accurate and continued nursing documentation including patient histories conditions treatments responses and assessment of changes. Maintains and meets expectations on time for all competencies license certifications and education requirements as outlined by local administration Adventist Health AH The Joint Commission TJC Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services CMS and all other regulatory agencies. Maintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and his or her clinical condition.

Meets charge nurse expectations as assigned. Meets professional behavior expectations and guest services expectations. Monitors hemodynamic status of patient and correctly interpret the results.

Nursing documentation must reflect comprehensive understanding of the nursing process. Performs head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments per policy. This includes pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patient populations.

Prepares administers monitors and discontinues IV fluids. Provides a professional environment and professional appearance while on hospital grounds. Willingly performs other duties and innovations as assigned.
