Day Shift - 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod
Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod
Patient Ratios - 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds - team nursing - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
Type of equipment - Alaris
EMR -Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year current ED RN experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC &, NIH
CPI Blue card
Active KS licensure Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Meditech experience
Been to a 52 bed ER or larger
Good grasp on patient experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics Best personality Fit:
Able to keep up with our fast pace ER
