Registered Nurse - Hospice

Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts · Shift: Days; exact hours to be confirmed

Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice RN to provide individualized end-of-life care to patients and support their families in home, assisted living, nursing home, rehabilitation, hospital, and inpatient hospice settings. Responsibilities Complete patient assessments and monitor symptoms, pain, breathing, and overall comfort. Develop and coordinate individualized hospice care plans.

Provide medication management and education to patients and caregivers. Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team. Educate families on hospice services, disease progression, nutrition, skin care, and end-of-life expectations.

Provide compassionate support while promoting patient dignity and quality of life. Requirements Active New Jersey RN license — required. Prior hospice or palliative care experience preferred.

Ability to work compassionately with patients and families during end-of-life care. CHPN certification preferred but not required.
