Registered Nurse - ICU

Travel experience is strongly preferred but not required, as well as a minimum of 3 years of critical care experience. Float to PCU Our PCU is not a step-down unit – more of a step-up unit to support the floors with patients that are higher acuity for floor but do not meet criteria for ICU. We see a great deal of respiratory support .

Also, early sepsis patients identified and cardiac arrythmia that the telemetry unit is not able to handle. The ratio is 3:1 in PCU and 2:1 in ICU. The PCU is being staffed by the ICU - there is a rotation of staff to the PCU.

Newer hires , we are supporting them longer in the PCU to get experience and once ready – start orientation in the ICU. Agency needs – we need flexibility. ICU willing to rotate to PCU care.
