Registered Nurse - ICU

• ICU – 3/12s Nights *No first time travelers* *Traveler must be proficient in EPIC Unit Requirements/Information:
• MUST have 2 years of ICU experience
• Average Daily Census: 20
• Schedule

• Required to work 3-4 weekend shifts per month, may be placed on call, may be required to float to MS/Tele, SDU
• EPIC Charting System
• Acudose
• Adult ICU, no trauma, no BMT – covers all other ICU illnesses and conditions
• Patient Diagnoses: Must have strong Cardiac experience, Respiratory, Stoke, Sepsis, DKA, Post-operative complication, pre-post cardiac cath experience required, STEMI patients, chest pain, MI
• CVICU (CTICU) cardiothoracic surgery (will specify if this type of RN needed)/ Neuro assessment- strong skills – hemorrhagic stroke
• Special Procedures: o Central line placement o arterial line placement o EKG o Peripheral A-Line experience required o Cardiac drips: norepinephrine, dopamine, vasodepressin, neosynepherine, epi, amino o Drips: precedex, propofol, heparin o Intubation o Tracheostomy o Thoracentesis o Paracentesis o Dialysis catheter placement o Therapeutic hypothermia o IABP – only if specified CVICU/CTICU o Pacemaker
