Contract details

Position: RN- ICU/PCU Float (MUST be comfortable working ALL ICU and PCU units) SCHEDULING DETAILS ===============================
Contract Length/Shift Details: 3x12s, 645p-715a
Charting: EPIC experience required
Floating: Staffing needs are Re-evaluated every 4 hours, so traveler could float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours)
Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes
Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria
RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission
Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks REQUIRED LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS =================================
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Pending License Accepted: Yes, only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS =========================
IV therapy: arterial line management, central/PICC line care, blood product administration, IV initiation & maintenance
Respiratory support: BiPAP & CPAP management, ventilated patient care
Medication administration: continuous IV sedation, emergency meds, titration of cardiac & vasoactive drips
Wound care: surgical wounds with drains or wound vacs
Cardiac monitoring: dysrhythmia interpretation & management
Endocrine/metabolic: IV insulin protocol adherence
ICU Experience
Experience at a Large Level 1/2 Facility required.
Prefer Candidates with 2+ years experience UNIT DETAILS ==============
