Required to work at all locations as needed. Campus & unit assignments will be assigned on the day of their shift depending on census. ***This is an Earning Power Contract where we leverage your traveler for per diem shifts! UCSD Staffing will schedule and guarantee 3 shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday OR Monday (any 3 shift combination of those 4 days).
RNs may be scheduled 4 shifts in a row. Schedules will come from Aya Staffing Team. Clinicians are not responsible for self-booking.

- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required - FIRM (do not submit without) - Phlebotomy and IV start experience required - FIRM (do not submit without) - References: At least 1 supervisor or manager, and 1 charge nurse or higher in correct unit from work assignment within the last 2 years. Reference from most recent employer strongly preferred. - BLS/ ACLS through the American Heart Association - All compliance items are due on Friday, two weeks prior to the week of orientation.
Modules are due on Monday, the week of orientation (note that the modules will take anywhere from 6-8 hours). - Covid vaccines and boosters required, no exemptions allowed. - No unit orientation will be provided for EP RNs! Must be flexible, adaptable, and resourceful. When submitting a clinician for an orientation date, please confirm they are available to attend orientation dates for the week, they commit to having compliance completed by the doc due date and can commit to completing all modules by the module due date.
