- Special Procedures/Unit Details: - IMCU will be overflow for CVCU, post ablations, post pacers, post Angio's. Travelers would not be required to be sheath credentialed or pull sheaths but knowledge in this area is helpful The intermediate care unit (IMCU) is a proud recipient of the Gold Beacon Award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).
