This RN will assume the care of admitted patients with varying diagnoses while they are boarding in the ED awaiting bed placement on an inpatient unit. Skills Req: Cerner, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Nasal Cannula, Isolation Precautions Skills Preferred: Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown Charting: Cerner Parking cost: yes Unit Visits/Day: 140 Rooms: 40 Medication System: Pyxis Scrubs: Any Color This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine*
