(1) IR RN - 8hr Variable Days (72hr bi-weekly) - Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center - LaCrosse, WI - Contract Length: 13 weeks- Start Date: ASAP- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 72hours/2 weeks (5 shifts one week & 4 shifts the next week) - Shift
8hr Shifts (Shift times vary 0700, 0730, 0745, 0800, 0830. All shifts are 8 hours)- Primary Location: Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center- Float
Position does not require any floating. All work is in IR at Lacrosse Hospital campus.- On Call/Call Back
call approximately 1 night/week and every 4-6 weekends, 30min response time- Weekend/Holiday
Weekends are call only every 4-6 weekends as needed & potential for holiday call- Required
WI RN, AHA BLS, ACLS- Minimum
2+yrs RN in IR, Cath Lab, Critical Care, ER or Recovery REQUIRED - Charting
Epic strongly preferred. - Unit Specific Skillset: IV skills, past experience with providing sedation Sedation experience REQUIRED. Must be familiar with neurointervention: stroke thrombectomy and embolization. (They do a lot of stroke intervention in addition to many other neuro procedures)- Unit Overview: Procedural Unit Interventional Radiology department 2 Flouro suites, 2 Procedure suites, 1 biplane lab, 1 hybrid lab, and CT- Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Radiology Department Wide variety of inpatients and outpatients, from clinic patients to critical care patients, elective to emergent procedures.
Department typically has 12 RNs, 12 IR technologists, 4 periop techs, 4 IR MDs, 2 Advanced Practice Providers, and 1 Neuro-Interventional locum. The procedural team consists of the provider, RN, and 1-2 techs. Anesthesia may also be involved in some procedures. - Scrubs: ProvidedGSA is not guaranteed orientation week.
Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed. Billing: Monday - Sunday 8hr unbillable orientation **candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start
