Night ShiftLocated in Templeton amongst the oak trees Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine orthopedics obstetrics digestive disorders wound care and various medical surgical and outpatient services. Job
Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing planning implementing and evaluating the care of patients. Coordinate manage provide and delegate patient care. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promoting cooperation among the health care team.

Education and Work
Graduate of a school of nursing: Required One-year recent acute care RN
Required Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice: Required Basic Life Support BLS?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Advanced Cardiovascular? Life Support ACLS?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required on hire and every two years for experienced nurses: Required Novice or new to LD RN?s will take the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course during first 6-8 months of LD orientation then AWHONN Advanced Fetal monitoring course every two years thereafter: Required Registered Nurse RN license in state of practice: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required

Practices safety related standards for both department and hospital including proper body mechanics and appropriate use of personal protective equipment. Demonstrates understanding and adherence to principles of infection control.
