• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
• Preparing patient for and assisting with exams as needed. Explaining procedures/treatment/discharge to patient and family members to alleviate apprehension and to verify understanding of procedure/discharge
• IV therapy competency including care for central lines
• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations
• Appropriate supervision and delegation of duties to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel and other ancillary staff
• Assures compliance with Joint Commission standards regarding National Patient Safety Goals and other areas of accreditation.

• Contract Duration - 13 (up to 26 weeks upon request)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours - 36 or 48 per week at the request of the candidate
• Requested time off - up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved (anything more would be subject to approval by the leader prior to confirming the candidate and time would be asked to be made up at the end of the assignment)
• Weekends - standard expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday will be required unless otherwise approved by the leader prior to confirmation)
