Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float.
Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/AWeekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule.
Every other holiday. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS and NIHSS.
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 2 years as RN, one full year ortho/neuro/trauma, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Charting
- Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Patient Population: Trauma, Ortho (broken hip/femur), Neuro (scheduled neck and back, spine/rib fx).Skillset: REQUIRED: Strong neuro assessment, log rolling patients, applying assistice devices (back brace, immobilizer), Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test **STEPDOWN EXP ONLY), PIV insertion.PREFERRED: Chest tube/indwelling drain management, drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), epidural management, PEGs/NGs, Bucks traction, pin site care, On
