Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/AWeekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license.
AHA BLS and NIHSS. Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Charting
- Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Patient Population: Post surgical -whipples, vascular, pre/post heart caths, bariatric, ENT, podiatry, open bellies. Dementia, AMS, CIWA/detox, q 2 hour turns, fall risks, thyroid surgeries.Skillset: PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), epidural management, ostomy care, blood product administration, tele interpretation, wound care (packing, wound vacs, dressing changes), pre/post heart cath (Fem./TR bands/no interventions). Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidatesUnit Information: 41 beds. Ratio: Days 1:5
