Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Midtown (IN 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float.
Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/AWeekend/Holiday Requirement: Every third weekend.
Every other holiday. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS and NIHSS.
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment. Charting
- Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Patient Population: General M/S: gallbladder, colectomy, appey, hip/knee replacements/ORIFs, Covid, GI bleeds, CHF, COPD, sepsis, UTI, respiratory.Skillset: PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, drip management (heparin, cardizem), PEGs/NGs, ostomy care, remote tele, blood product administration, NIHSS/dysphagia screen, Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates.Unit Information: 45 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4
