teaching hospital experience required, UCH surgical oncology unit, Majority of the procedures and diagnoses seen are related to the abdomen or pelvic area (Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach, unit primarily cares for patients with a known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions to manage their disease process or complications. Nursing staff provides care to patients to help achieve specific post-op milestones for discharge.
No Chemotherapy or Biotherapy is administered on this unit. Staff does not need to be chemo certified to apply. LOCAL BILL RATE IS $85 IF CANDIDATE LIVES LESS THAN 75 MILES FROM FACILITY
