- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in a Neurosurgical unit. The unit focuses on the care of patients with stroke, seizures, MS, back/head/spinal and other neurological diagnoses or neurosurgery procedures. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.Auto Offer Guidelines:

- Contract Duration - 13-26 weeks
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours - 36 per week
- Requested time off - up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved (anything more would be subject to approval by the leader prior to confirming the candidate and time would be asked to be made up at the end of the assignment)
- Weekends - standard expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday will be required unless otherwise approved by the leader prior to confirmation)
- Holidays - candidates should be expected to work at least one of the major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Day)
- Night shift orients on day shift.
