Number of Beds - 30 Beds with the potential to increase to 36
Number of Staff - 45 employees
Type of staff: o Day Shift - 1 Clinical coordinator/ 5 RNs / 2 techs / 1 unit secretary o Night Shift - 5 RNs / 2 techs
Patient Ratios - 1:5/ 1:6
Type of equipment - Baxter IV pumps/ Medfusion pumps/ SCDs
EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
BLS
Great communication skills Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
PALS certification/ able to take care of a pediatric patient
Familiar with post- op orthopedic care List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Post-Op orthopedic/ post-op spine surgical patientsà Post op care
