Recent EPIC experience required. Patient Population: Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, cerebral angiogram. General medical Skillset: Will also need to be comfortable taking medical overflow patients.
NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong Neuro assessments, basic tele interpretation, strict Is & Os/straight cath/Foleys, intitate/titrate heparin gtts., blood/blood product administration/venipuncture/blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain management, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.).
Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!
