- Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Our NICU is a small unit where the staff is more like a family than coworkers. The nurses here take pride in the amazing care they provide to neonatal patients and their families, and it is proven in our patient outcomes. We work very closely with the Neonatologists, Nurse Practitioners, and the multidisciplinary team; the nursing staff is expected to have strong critical thinking skills and to be autonomous as well as be a strong advocate for their patients and assist in creating the daily plan of care.
