Must have BLS
At least 5+ years of Experience
ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE WITH MEDIPORTS/PICCS/CENTRAL LINES Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
Chemotherapy Certification preferred
Meditech experience preferred Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
Active TX RN License-Temp License is NOT acceptedProcedures performed on unit:
Chemotherapy administration
CHG Baths, including the central lines and dressings
Central line, mediport access and lab draws
BLOOD PRODUCT TRANSFUSIONS
CHEMO ADMINISTRATIONDress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
Scrub Color
RN: Navy scrubs
Nail Policy - Clean and Healthy
Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos - Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
