Days Day shift position Monday-Friday. Will be scheduled 8 hour shifts, but may have to stay late after 3pm until cases finish. Call may be required for weekends and after hours.

Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply. Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up Unit: OR RN # Suites- 6 Average # of cases per day- 22 Required Certifications-BLS Common Cases: Scleral buckle, vitrectomy, corneal transplants, Cataracts, minor general surgery, minor spine stabilization procedures, spinal cord stimulators, ENT procedures, dental Experience or 'Must have'
2 years minimum experience as ORT. Must have experience in ophthalmology (need to at least perform cataract and cornea independently). Must be able to scrub as well as circulate ambulatory surgery procedures.
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes, but not in the One Day Surgery Building Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) No self scheduling. Shift start time is 0645am until 1515 but will be scheuded late shifts to complete any cases not complete.
