- Type of patients/cases on the unit: limited Pediatric (ortho only), Adult, Geriatric. This position is mainly for the St Patrick Campus which does Ortho (Mako Total knees/total hip/gamma nails), Podiatry (bunion/ankle scopes/ankle and foot fractures), Hand (fractures/CMC), Spine/Crani (ALIF/DLIF/TLIF/Kypho/Crani), General (chole/appy/hernia/colon/robotic), Urology (TURP/cysto/stones). The float campus would be Lake Area which has Pain, ENT ( including pediatric), Urology, Gynecology, Podiatry, General and some Ortho Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- BLS required
- RN License in state of employment or compact Weekend Requirement On-call On Call Requirement On call 1-2 times per week and every 3rd weekend (Fri-Sunday) Floating Requirement / Locations Only needed in OR. Could be asked to float between St. Pats and Lake Area Nurse / Patient Ratio 1:1
The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. - Consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.

- Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
- Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources. Job

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred Experience
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- BLS required
- RN License in state of employment or compact Work
