N Locals accepted: Y Pending License accepted: Y RTO Restrictions: Anything over 2 weeks needs approval Guaranteed Hours: 8 Rule: 36.00 hours per 1 week 10 Rule: 36.00 hours per 1 week 12 Rule: 36.00 hours per 1 week Client may cancel up to: 1 shift per 4 week assignment 2 shifts per 8 week assignment 3 shifts per 13 week assignment Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma Center Total Staffed Beds: 569 Scrub Color: Royal Blue Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Free ***Must have some type of Tele experience*** ***Must list Oregon license status in submittal*** Ortho or Med Surg RNs 6S Ortho unit 12 hour Days 0700-1930 13 weeks ASAP start Required: -BLS -1.5 years of experience Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Center of Excellence Located on the sixth floor of Building B, the 46-bed Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Center of Excellence specialty unit delivers care to patients with surgical and non-surgical musculoskeletal conditions. These includes general orthopedic patients with fractures and other traumatic injuries, degenerative disease, congenital disorders, and infection. This unit also sees patients with total joint replacements or other musculoskeletal surgeries. It was the first in Oregon to receive a Center of Excellence Disease Specific Certification from The Joint Commission for total hip and knee replacements. We credit strong interdisciplinary teamwork for continued high-quality patient outcomes, resulting in an excellent experience for our patients. Nurses in this unit are not required to have orthopedic experience for consideration. Education will be provided upon hire. BLS through AHA
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
O2 Protocol
Non-invasive airway management
Peripheral line care/management
Isolation precaution/PPE
Rapid response team activation
Computerized documentation
Patient ratios: o RN 1:4-6 o CNA 1:6-13 on days and 1:10-13 on nights
1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele
