Number of Beds - 345 - 3-time Magnet Designation
Number of Staff - float pool is about 80
Type of staff:
Day Shift - RN and CNAs on most units
Night Shift - RNs and CNAs on most units
Patient Ratios - 1:5 days and nights varies between units
Types of equipment - various
EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU experience
BLS, ACLS & NIH Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Prior Meditech experience
Chemo Certification (would be able to schedule on our Oncology unit) List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Varies between units - Large Cardiac Population - what 2 Tele Floors and a PCU
Floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units Best personality Fit:
Flexibility and willingness to float
Team player and compassion is a must
