Type of staff: o Day Shift - 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 1 Unit Secretary, 2-3 Techs o Night Shift - 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 1 tech
Patient Ratios - 4:1
Type of equipment - EKG Machine, Hoyer Lift, LifePak
EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Telemetry Experience and Reading EKGs
Ability to handle a fast paced unit with several admissions, discharges, transfers, procedures, etc. Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Sets priorities and modifies patient care in response to changing conditions by utilizing problem solving skills and exhibiting good judgment.
Makes appropriate and timely notification to physicians on patient condition changes List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Scrub Color/Attire - navy Weekends and On call:
Every 3rd Friday and Sat 7p-7a plus and additional Friday or Sat (7p-7a) each schedule. Will need help with Halloween, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas night.
