Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER

Assignment Overview • Patient Ratio: 1:6+ •

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Required Background: Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
• Travel

• First-time travelers accepted
• Local Candidates: Accepted
• Weekends: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) required
• Holidays: Must work 2 of 3 holidays
• Scheduling/RTO: Any scheduling accommodations or requested time off must be submitted with the submittal and approved prior to offer Patient Population / Unit Information
• Pediatric Emergency Department
• Patient population ranges from birth through 21 years of age
• High-acuity trauma patients Required Certifications & Training
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• Iron Temple Training De-Escalation must be completed within 14 days of the start date o Cost: $53 out of pocket plus tax
• NIH preferred Float Expectations
• RNs will float to other pediatric areas for assignments appropriate to their skill set and competency
• PICU and Pediatric floor floating is required
• May also float to NICU for appropriate assignments Required Clinical Experience
• Critical Care or Emergency Department background Charting System
• EPIC
