- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- MN RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN
- BLS
- PEARS or PALS
- Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Course completion through APHON or equivalent within past 5 yrs
- 2 yrs nursing experience working with pediatric Hematology/Oncology patient population
- Assess pediatric patients before, during, and after chemotherapy/infusion treatments
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications safely
- Monitor for side effects and adverse reactions; intervene promptly
- Manage central lines (ports, PICCs) and maintain sterile technique
- Provide pain, symptom, and supportive care (nausea, fatigue, etc.)
- Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and home care
- Offer emotional support to children and caregivers
- Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Document care, medication administration, and patient responses accurately within Cerner
