Main OR RN manager looking for good peds exp Proficiency working within the OR Operating room; level of acuity is high MA RN required BLs, PALS required Short call up to 3 times every six weeks (1715
1915) Up to 4 off shifts every six weeks Up to 1 weekend shift and 1 weekend call every six weeks Holidays shift and call coverage as needed by the unit We typically only assign about three short-call shifts in a six-week block to travelers at the end of their shift. For example, most travelers work 7am
5pm so short-call would be from 5pm
7pm for two hours based on how busy the department is. Typically, the charge nurse will give staff a heads up before the end of their shift to let them know if they will likely need to stay on short-call. Rate differential for local travelers within 50 miles.
