Location: Anschutz Medical Campus UNIT: CPCU Position Title: RN CPCU – Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (Pediatric Cardiac Experience Required) Unit Details: 34-bed unit with private rooms Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1 or 3:1 Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks Assignment Dates: 11/03/2026 – 02/06/2027
12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Scheduling Requirements Float Requirement: None Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) On-Call Requirement: None Float Policy Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill guaranteed scheduled hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility, unless otherwise agreed to in the individual assignment confirmation.

Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac Progressive Care or Cardiac Step-Down experience Minimum 1 year of inpatient pediatric cardiology experience (ICU or Intermediate Care) Strong working knowledge of pediatric three-stage single ventricle care (candidates will be asked to discuss their experience) Competence caring for pediatric cardiology patients, including: Single Ventricle Heart Transplant Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) Travel
Previous travel experience preferred First-time travelers will be considered
Experience with Pediatric VAD patients Teaching Hospital experience preferred Additional Notes No RTO approved during the first two weeks of the assignment. MAX 5 DAYS RTO ON 13 WEEK CONTRACT Required to work 2 Major holidays and 1 minor Strong pediatric cardiac experience is required. Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Policy Medical and religious exemptions are accepted for the 2026-2027 influenza season.
