Grubbs@ayahealthcare.com *IMPORTANT* -The clinician is responsible for picking up shifts weekly in the Shifts app. In the event there are no shifts posted, please have your clinician submit availability in the shifts app so we can make sure they get their guaranteed hours.
The clinician must provide 5 days of availability through self-scheduling and work a total of 36 hours each week during the contract duration. The facility has up to 2 hours from the start of the shift to confirm/cancel shifts. If a shift is canceled, the clinician must continue to sign up for shifts until they have worked 36 hours (through the shifts app). -First and Last week of contract are not guaranteed. -Any week containing RTO that prohibits clinicians from meeting their scheduling requirement is not guaranteed. -Timely compliance will be important.
Only 2 start date pushes are allowed -Shifts access will not be granted until candidate is fully cleared by client post orientation -24 hours guaranteed weekly The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a 30 bed monitored ICU located on the 10th floor of the new C. S. Mott Children's Hospital.
The unit is multi-acuity ranging from critically ill to short stay observation. Multidisciplinary care is provided for children from newborn to young adult in partnership with Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, BMT, Nephrology, Transplant Surgery, and Pediatric Cardiology.
Requirements 2 years of experience in a combination of PICU, PCTU, and/or NICU Current BLS and PALS certifications required Meets Michigan license requirements 1 manager reference and 1 charge nurse reference EPIC experience required Submission notes must include dates and times the candidate is available for a phone call Nighttime availability is acceptable because night managers may call candidates at night Preferred ACLS BSN Shift Details Days: 1900-0730 12-hour shifts available Orientation A 12-hour orientation is offered every Tuesday. 8 hours of remote training must be completed before Friday of that week.
One 12-hour floor orientation shift is required, with the possibility of one additional shift if needed. All modules have to be completed before they can do floor orientation shift. Michigan Medicine will make every effort to have the clinician orient on the shift they were submitted for.
The clinician will provide availability within 2 weeks of their start date for the floor orientation shift. 1 attempt to pass EKG test, will take this during CSR orientation.
