Qualifications
Unit description: Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit preferred
Newborn to 21 preferred
Medical diagnoses include respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, ECMO preferred
Ventricular assist devices preferred
Surgeries include extensive general, cardiac, thoracic, transplants, orthopedic, neurologic procedures preferred
Continuous infusions and intermittent medications (Narcotics, vasopressors, diuretics, PN/IL), IVP, PCAs, PO, GT/JT preferred
Patient to nurse ratio - 2:1 or 1:1 preferred
