Registered Nurse - PICU

**** CCHMC will accept first time Travelers, however they will still need 2 years of work experience int he specialty they are applying for. 2 years PICU experience with exposure to CICU as well. Float required- may float down as needed as well as to CICU (CVPICU) as needed. Census has been very high, and this has been infrequent.

But if our census drops, the travelers are 1st to float. They are notified when they report to work for that shift. Rotating shifts depending on need- days and nights Ratios are 1:1 or 1:2 Blocked schedules can be accommodated if traveler is willing to work all weekends BLS, ACLS, PALS required.

Please note: - RTO requests must be presented at time of submission or will not be honored. - 5 days max can be requested - No block scheduling request, unless it’s for weekends only (FRI-SUN) -EOW is required -Travelers are expected to work a minimum of 2 holidays All candidates must be FULLY VACCINATED. No exceptions. Any previous CCHMC employees are not eligible for contract positions for a period of 1 year from term date.
