Registered Nurse – Progressive Care

RN-PCU-Surgical Stepdown jobs at the facility in Birmingham, AL let you deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative progressive care unit. You will monitor post-surgical patients, manage complex conditions, and document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must have an active Alabama or compact RN license, at least 2 years of recent PCU or stepdown experience, and prior travel contract experience.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association are required. Recommended skills include strong critical thinking, adaptability, and effective communication. Experience with cardiac care and EMR systems is valuable.
