Position Details: RN PCU/Stepdown Unit 6 This position will not accept local candidates. Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available) 12 week contract Required: 2 years SDU/IMCU experience. Vent on IMC level required Travel experience required BLS, ACLS, NIH required Unit Specific Details: Drips: Cardizem (the only one they titrate), Amiodarone, nitro, Heparin, Lasix, bumex.

Typically non-titratable drips. Ratios 1:4-5 (days) and 1:5 (nights). BiPAP, CPAP, High flow, HHFNC.

Vents are a required skill (vents are occasional on unit and would educate travelers prior to assigning). Mixed IMC acuity patients. Cardiac: NSTEMI, stress tests, cardioversions, TEE's.

Neuro: May see some neuro patients. General: HD, AKI, CRF, GI bleeds. Respiratory: COPD, CHF, COVID.

Typically 2 CNA's per shift. Charge RN, goal is to have them out of assignment. Vent on IMC level required *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility.

Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing.
