Registered Nurse - Stepdown Neuro

REQUIRED ON ALL DARTMOUTH JOBS (NURSING AND ALLIED) All travelers must have 1 year of Level I Trauma experience within the last three years in a hospital with 300+ beds RN NEEDED FOR ASAP START - BILL - D/N Rotation - 36 or 48 hrs/wk10 Bed Progressive Care. Medical (Neuromuscular disorders, Meningitis), Primary Stroke Center, TBI, Spinal Cord Injury, Surgical (Tumor resections (brain and spine), Spinal surgery, Head and neck cancer), Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) Trials with Lumbar Drains.

Must have

Arterial lines, Ventriculostomies, Subdural Drains, Lumbar Drains

- Hemodynamic monitoring- Invasive BP monitoring through arterial lines- Bi-PAP/ C-PAP- Trach C-PAP patients on the ventilator (NSCU/ISCU)- Low dose pressors, vasoactive meds, and inotropes- Mannitol & 3% (NSCU)- Trachs- Complex wounds- Lines/ tubes/ drains for post surgical patients- Ventriculostomies, Subdural Drains, Lumbar Drains (NSCU)
