Cerner experience recommended as there is only one day of orientation. Total joint replacement experience Are RN's required to titrate drips no Common titratable &/or set drips we take Diltiazem/Cardizem drips at a set .
Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips? Yes, Yes RN’s are required to interpret strips and sign at least once a shift.
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Both Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios Yes 1:10-15 RT/Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) BiPap, CPAP, breathing treatments Shifts & Scheduling Shifts are 7-7. - Schedules are made out for 4 weeks. Self scheduling is used but not final until the manager balances. Weekend Requirement 2 weekends per 4 week schedule Holiday Requirement For Christmas, New Years, and Thanksgiving, I like them to work 2 days and and eve or 2 eves and a day (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day) Call or Standby Requirement No Floating Requirements Yes, they may float to East Campus, and possibly PCU if qualified Scrub Color/Dress Code Navy Blue Unit/Department Specific Orientation 1 Shift of orientation on the unit.
