19:00-07:00, 12 Hours Start Date: 11/22/2026 Duration: 10 weeks Number of Openings: 5 Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in the Emergency Department (ER) in Biddeford, ME. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work night shifts while providing high-quality care to patients in critical conditions. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional respiratory care, particularly in the ICU and ER settings.
Your experience with pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation will be invaluable. You will also attend high-risk C-sections as part of the resuscitation team and provide support across Med Surge floors. Key
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions. Utilize Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators, neo puff, and EPIC documentation system. Participate in high-risk deliveries and resuscitation efforts.
Float to various areas of the hospital as needed.
Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Hold certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in adult ICU, ER, and working with pediatric patients is preferred. Strong assessment skills and familiarity with required equipment. Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
