3x12s night shift, 6p-6:30a Unit Details: Work as only RT on duty. Cover deliveries to floor care to ICU to ED. Respond to all CODEs, Rapids, and Traumas.
Census can vary as is a small rural hospital. Relatively busy ED. Neo: attend most deliveries as support, provide occasional PPV/NRP, any baby requiring NICU care are transferred.
Peds: Treat in ED. Any ped admits get transferred. Adults: we do keep "simple" vented patients.
No specialists in house, so complicated cases get transferred. Equipment: V60, Hamilton G5, Hamilton MRI, Vapotherm, Airvo, Aerobika, Vest, Panda warmer with neopuff, RAM cannula, Aerogen, BAN, ResMed Years of experience REQ: 1 Year First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required. Holiday REQ: Traveler will participate in holiday rotation.
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, RRT. State License pending OK Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?

Travelers may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotation. Guaranteed Hours: If confirmed to 3x12-hour shifts, SSM will guarantee a min. of 36 hours/ week. If confirmed to 4x12-hour shifts, SSM will guarantee a min. of 48 hours/ week.
If confirmed to shift lengths less than 12-hours, SSM will guarantee a min. of 40 hours/week. If confirmed to shift lengths less than 12-hours, SSM will guarantee a min. of 40 hours/ week. Please note: SSM may cancel (call-off) the following per 4-week period: Up to 8 hours for Candidates confirmed to 8-hour shifts.
