- 5 years of experience. Adults: BLS, ACLS Peds: BLS, PALS NICU: BLS, NRP - Types of patients: Adults- all floors, Peds, NICU. - What areas do they cover: Inpatient. RTs for Pediatric floors will also cover adults. RTs for Adult floors will not cover Peds - Experience or 'Must have'
Must have at least 2-3 years experience if RRT, 3-5 years experience if CRT, okay with first time travelers. If the are going to NICU need to know how to do NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Cervo vents. - Job Duties: Will manage all RT equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs. Will not do EKGs. - Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist: Travelers will only assist. - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7: Yes to both - Is there a Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each
