  • Number of Beds - 160

  • Type of staff:
  • Day Shift - Staff for days is 5-6 minimum.
  • Night Shift - Staff for nights is 4-4.5 minimum.
  • Patient Ratios - RVU System
  • Type of equipment - Vents PB, Drager V500, Aerogons, V60 Bipap, HHFNC, Hamilton C-transport, Oscillator, Jet ,NITRIC, Bubble CPAP
  • EMR - EPICTypical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP, Level 3-unit NICU skills. NICU skills to be able to work in this unit proficiently.
  • Acute care experiences with Med Surg, ER and ICU. Good time management with heavy loads at times. Experience managing Bipaps, ventilators and Heated High Flow units. Assisting with intubations, bedside bronchs and proficient EMR charting. Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): ICU/CCU, NICU, and Emergency Care as an RT Best personality Fit:
  • Willing to jump in and help with higher loads and higher acuity patients. Being independent and self-motivating. Willing to work in Level 3 NICU. Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
